FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves collection of phospholipid concentrate samples, preparation of the phospholipids concentrate samples for analysis and calculating content of phospholipids in the phospholipid concentrate using a formula, where the phospholipid concentrate sample has mass of (8.00±0.02) g, the phospholipid concentrate sample is prepared via temperature control at (23±0.2)°C for 1 hour, after which the phospholipid concentrate sample is put into the sensor of a pulsed NMR analyser; the amplitude of nuclear magnetic relaxation (NMR) signals of protons of phospholipids of the third and fourth component of the phospholipid concentrate in arbitrary units is measured; the sum of amplitude values of NMR signals of protons of phospholipids of the third and fourth component of the phospholipid concentrate is determined; and content of phospholipids in the phospholipid concentrate (lecithin) in percentages (P) is calculated using the formula: P=0.1671·(A3+A4)-45.55.
