FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of data packets containing data on coordinates of a vehicle, the current date, time and state of separate subsystems of the vehicle, conversion of said data packets into an electrical signal, discrete transmission of said signal in real time to a central control point. The invention also proposes periodic reception of data packets from said vehicle and other vehicles, processing, storage and display of information on the vehicle on an electronic map. When forming a transmission data array, reference and intermediate packets are formed. Each reference packet includes all current data from all sensors, coordinates, the date and time in full. The reference packet is transmitted in any case regardless of the state of the vehicle. The intermediate packet includes the change in the value of data from sensors and the time increment of that change relative the previous reference packet, or the change in coordinates and the time increment of that change relative the previous reference packet. The intermediate packet is formed and transmitted only when the set threshold of the change in coordinates and data is exceeded. The value of threshold change in data where transmission takes place is set separately for each type of data.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of commercial car parks and prevents stealing of fuel and other materials, as well as improper use of vehicles.
