FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packings used in adsorption and rectification process in oil, gas, chemical and related industries. Regular screen packing comprise elements made up of rolled corrugates sleeve from screen knitted in stockinette structure and distributing elements made up of corrugated sleeve sections from screen knitted in stockinette structure folded like accordion across said sleeve and jointed in band tightly folded zigzag-like. Note here that elements from rolled corrugated sleeve alternate in height with distributing elements.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of transverse redistribution of fluid in nozzle and heat-and-mass transfer processes.
