FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in production of long-length pump rods that are used in oil production with the help of rod borehole pumps. After bars rolling their mechanical processing is carried out, then leveling and polishing and connection to threaded heads. Captive nuts are used as threaded heads. Nuts are stuck on bar. Then lugs are jolted on the bar ends, which are intended for bar connection with captive nuts. Jolted lugs are subject to mechanical processing to final size.
EFFECT: reduction of pump rods production labour intensity with preservation of their high quality.
