FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hopper unit comprises rectangular containers making its top part and funnel to receive averaged coal fuel mounted above selection container. Container bottom represents a funnel provided with adjustable gates. Note that hopper unit is equipped with inclined flutes. Container funnel bottom are coupled with flutes while funnel top sections are fitted on rotational axle and bottom section are connected with ropes to adjust flute inclination. Funnel for averaged coal fuel is arranged above flutes and provided with gate. Coal with different physicochemical properties is loaded into containers. Then, operator closes simultaneously aforesaid gates. Gate opening angle is selected proceeding from properties of coals being mixed. Now, coal is fed into funnel from containers via inclined flutes with their inclination subject to properties of mixed coals and volumes required for mixing into said funnel. Coals are mixed in funnel wherefrom mixed coal comes via adjustable gate into selection conveyor.
EFFECT: high-quality coal stock with preset physicochemical properties.
