SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises vessel with fluid, photo receiver, LEDs arranged in symmetry about photo receiver optical axis at angle α, collecting lenses aligned with photo receiver and LEDs, and mirror reflector. Note here that mirror reflector is arranged in fluid while angle α is defined from new relation: ,
where frs is focal distance of LED lens, mm; γ is radiation source aperture angle, degrees. Note also that number of LEDs makes at least four.
EFFECT: contactless measurement in inflammable liquids, simplified design and higher reliability.
