FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for estimating clinical effectiveness, patients suffering chronic conditions of nose and accessory sinuses of nose are examined for a degree of nonspecific resistance of a nasal mucosa by calculating a thiol-disulphide balance K=SH/SS, and a number of SH and -SS groups in a nasal secretion. The values K=1.2-1.9 enables to estimate a degree of nonspecific resistance of the nasal mucosa as low, and clinical effectiveness is considered to be negative. If K=2.0-2.7, a degree of nonspecific resistance is estimated as low, clinical effectiveness is positive, however requiring to be prolonged. The value K=2.8-3.5 provides a high degree of nonspecific resistance and positive clinical effectiveness.
EFFECT: invention allows precise and quick estimation of clinical effectiveness.
