FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. namely in diagnostics of a hip joint state. It involves comparing an external rotation measured in a neutral hip position in a hip joint and in a flexion position in a hip joint at an angle of 90 degrees. If observing the external hip rotation increased more than by 30 degrees, the test is considered to be positive that testifies to a primary dependence of the internal rotational dysfunction on a tension degree of a iliopsoas muscle. The negative test testifies to the primary dependence of the dysfunction on increased femoral antetorsion.
EFFECT: method allows differentiating the causes of the internal rotational dysfunction in the ICP patients and has influence of principle on selecting a surgical management.
