FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and may be used in pelvic osteotomy in treating dysplastic acetabulum in the children suffering infantile cerebral paralysis. The method consists in iliac osteotomy along a coxal line, displacement of a distal fragment outwards, forwards and downwards and further wire fixation of the achieved position. The intertrochanteric detorsion varus osteotomy of a femoral bone and angle plate fixation follow for a mildly affected hip. A bone fragment of a pre-set size is saw out to be further used as an autograft. It is placed in a projection of the further pelvic osteotomy on the opposite extremity for a muscle fascia for preservation into an expected operation site. At the second stage, the severely affected extremity is operated 3 weeks later. For this purpose the preserved autograft is removed from soft tissues in performing the pelvic osteotomy in a projection of the section. That is followed by the Solter's pelvic osteotomy using the autograft for formation of an acetabular roof.

EFFECT: using the given invention provides stabilising the milder joint at the first stage, thereby ensuring and preserving an adequate amount of the autograft material, at the second stage - creating adequately covered femoral head using the pre-formed autograft, simultaneously equalising the difference of leg length; it is useful to implement the given technique in the patients with infantile cerebral paralysis, suffering double asymmetrical hip joint involvement.
