That is ensured by a method of blood purification from pathogens in which a mammal's blood sample contacts with heparin immobilised on a solid support. Heparin is covalently terminally attached to the solid support. Thereafter, blood purified in such a manner is collected. What is offered is application of an apparatus for extracorporal purification from pathogens which also comprises heparin covalently terminally attached to the solid support. What is offered is application of heparin covalently terminally attached to the solid support. Besides, what is offered is a method of treating mammals by extracorporal blood purification by means of heparin immobilised as specified above.

EFFECT: inventions allow provide higher effectiveness of extracorporal blood purification ensured by optimum pathogen attachment to heparin molecules immobilised as specified above on the solid support that allows avoiding a carbohydrate chain damage and maintaining biological activity of heparin throughout the whole cycle of extracorporal blood purification.
