FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: powered support section comprises a base, a barrier element, a four-terminal network, a supporting element and hydraulic props. Hydraulic props are inclined towards a dump part of a long face. There are cutter wedges arranged on the supporting element of the powered support section along side edges of the supporting element upper section along its whole length. Cutter wedges are fixed to the upper plane of the supporting element. Each cutter wedge is a triangular pyramid. The top and the rib of this pyramid are arranged on the same axis with a hydraulic prop axis, and the base is arranged on the supporting element surface. The pyramid base is fixedly connected to a supporting element and represents an isosceles triangle, the top of which is arranged in the bottom part of the long face, and the base is located in the dump part of the long face.
EFFECT: improved safety of mining.
