FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stand comprises bed accommodating driven horizontal and vertical rolls with radial motion drives. Clearance between roll side surfaces is eliminated by roll side tapered surface in permanent contact with side surface of adjacent rolls and providing every roll with means to apply pressure force and control it. Note here that initial pressure force between tapered side surfaces of rolls is specified by mathematical relation and makes at least T=(1.1÷1.2)P. Besides, stand is equipped with extra spur worm reduction gear.
EFFECT: higher precision of tubes tolled in said stand.
