FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of iron powder that contains phosphorus. Proposed method comprises mixing powder of fine carbonyl iron with red phosphorus and pre-blowing of reaction mix by nitrogen. Pre-blowing over, reaction vessel inlet and outlet are stopped. Then, obtained product is heated, cooled and minced. Note here that heating is carried out at 180 to 320°C at pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure by 0.3÷9.1 atm.
EFFECT: lower losses of reaction substances and higher safety.
