FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method to clean parts of cylinder and piston group of an internal combustion engine consists in injection of fluid into cylinders. Instead of fluid, water is supplied. Supply is carried out into an inlet header of the engine during operation in the mode of free acceleration - partial coasting, proportionally to hourly consumption of fuel.
EFFECT: cleaning of parts of cylinder and piston group of the internal combustion engine in process of its operation without disassembly.
