SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical device, namely to injection devices for a fixed dose of a liquid medicinal product. The injection device comprises a container holding the medicinal product, a piston, a dose setting unit, an injection unit, a drive element, a removable cap and a receiving part. The piston is configured to move along an axis in the container. The injection unit provides injecting the fixed dose and comprises a piston rod for discrete advance of the piston in the container for supply the pre-set amount of the liquid medicinal product, The drive element is configured to transmit effort to the piston rod during the injection by the forced advance of the piston rod during the axial advance. The receiving part is configured to rest against the cap or couple therewith when attached to the injection device. The injection device is functionally connected to the receiving part so that it is deactivated by attaching the cap to the injection device, thereby avoiding the preparation withdrawal from the container; when the cap is attached to the injection device, the drive element is able to rotate, but blocked from the reciprocation in relation to the cap as a result of its physical blocking by the cap in relation to the axial advance.

EFFECT: using the invention provides the automatic setting of the correct dose of the preparation during the cycle of cap attachment/release that reduces the number of operations to be performed by the user.
