FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely an injection device for injection of a set dose of a liquid preparation, e.g. for injection of the identical, fixed doses or for injection of a limited number of injections of various doses. The injection device for injection of the set dose of the liquid preparation comprises a cartridge, a dose setting unit, an injection unit, a removable cap and a receiving portion. The cartridge is used to accommodate the liquid preparation and comprise an outlet canal and a movable piston. The injection unit provides an injection of a set dose and comprises a piston rod that provides a discrete movement of the piston inside the cartridge. The receiving portion is provided to rest against the cap or to couple therewith when attached to the injection device so as to cover the outlet canal. The dose setting unit is functionally connected to the receiving portion so that the cap when attached to the injection device and/or removed therefrom, makes the dose setting unit set a single dose.

EFFECT: presented invention provides simplifying the injection procedure ensured by reducing the number of the required operations.
