FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat protection of hot parts of heating and power plants and refers to the method for obtaining fibrous heat-insulating material. Method involves preparation of aqueous slip containing fire-resistant fibres and binding agent, obtaining of raw material of fibrous material by vacuum formation of aqueous slip and further formation of raw material under pressure; at that, formation of raw material under pressure is performed by its cold rolling to the design thickness; after that, drying is performed; at that, design thickness of the rolled raw material is determined by means of calculation. As fire-resistant fibres there used are discrete fibres of aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, quartz fibres, mullite fibres, or their mixture with diameter of 0.5-10 mcm, with length of up to 50 mm; and polyvinyl acetate (PVA) is used as binding agent.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining inexpensive fibrous heat-insulating materials with increased flexibility and stable size.
