FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: intratubal tow device for mains consists of case with drive, of electric system with electric accumulator, of control unit with microprocessor, of motor-generator with rotation velocity sensor and of heat utiliser. The drive corresponds to a speed increaser with two output channels of differently directed rotation each made as one unit with corresponding driven shafts of rotors: a front and a back one, and with rotary carriages set as vanes on each rotor at amount as many, as three. Rubberised wheels are arranged on each carriage on rotary inclined poles. The wheels are up-thrust to surface of the pipeline with spring telescopic cylinders and with centrifugal forces at rotation of rotors. The wheels are set with incline: with diametre plane at angle α=15-75° to axis of the pipeline; so, that at motion they roll on surface of the pipeline along a screw line: under generator mode at α=15° the rotor and motor generator are rotated, under motion mode at α=75° the tow device is transferred. An elastic sealing element in form of a hollow thin wall truncated cone of elastomer reinforced with oblique-angled mesh is set on the case.
EFFECT: increased reliability of device travelling with smooth change of velocity within specified ranges of its value; saved energy of flow and delivery of towed process equipment into specified point of main.
