FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology and resuscitation science and can be used in treatment of respiratory distress-syndrome in newborn babies who are on artificial lung ventilation. For this purpose preliminarily carried out is flow immunocytofluorimetry of patient's venous blood and level of CD14, CD69 and lymphocytes, which are in late apoptosis, is determined. If relative content of CD 14 decreases below 6.2%, CD 69 increases higher than 2.9% and level of lymphocytes which are in late apoptosis is higher than 1%, inhalation introduction of nitrogen in concentration 10 ppm in carried out for 24 hours.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure stabilisation of patient's state due to activation of monocyte-macrophage link of immunity and stabilisation of apoptosis of immunocompetent cells.
