FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plant comprises casting machine, rolling stands with roller drives, withdrawal rollers with drives mounted after last stand, guillotine-shears, pressure rollers and sheet stacker. Note here that withdrawal roller drives roller drives of last and penultimate stands are electrically interconnected to maintain invariable roller rpm-to-breakdown feed speed ratio for continuous sheet stacking. Note also that withdrawal roller working surfaces are gummed.
EFFECT: higher quality of strip with corrugation not exceeding 0,1 mm per running metre.
