FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to method of producing an article consisting of fiber composite material and to shaped component made from said material that features cross section varying over its length Proposed method comprises producing at least one substrate film and applying on said substrate the main material that represents pre-impregnated fiber semiproduct and auxiliary material to obtain billet for forming. Note here that said main material is located on at least one portion of said billet and auxiliary material is located on least one section of said billet. Two sections of said billet are bonded together by compaction so that at least one substrate is located on article billet surface. Thereafter, at least one substrate and auxiliary material are removed from said billet to obtain the article. Note here that the main and auxiliary material applied feature thickness that provides for constant thickness of billet for forming.

EFFECT: possibility to produce shaped component made from said material that features cross section varying over its length.
