FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to mass compositions for the production of lightweight bricks. In the ceramic mass, shale coke is added, ground up to pass through a 0.14 mm sieve, with an oxide content, wt%: SiO2 28.6; Al2O3 6.7; Fe2O3 5.4; CaO 21.5; MgO 2.2; R2O 3.5; the percentage of other impurities is 32.1 with the following component ratio, mass%: intershale clay – 50–70; shale coke – 30–50. Use of man-made raw materials in the production of lightweight bricks contributes to the recycling of industrial wastes, the environmental protection, the expansion of the raw material base for ceramic materials.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is a reduction in the thermal conductivity and density of lightweight bricks.
