FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: alloyed grain of aluminium oxide, titanium oxide and zirconium dioxide contains, wt %: Al2O3 more, than 10 and less, than 50; TiO2 more, than 10 and less, than 40; ZrCb more, than 50 and impurities less, than 2. Grain does not contain phase TiO2 and not necessarily phase of zirconium dioxide where more, than 98 wt % of zirconium dioxide are monoclinic. Grain is produced by mixing raw stock, by alloying and by production of melt liquid, by cooling melt liquid till complete hardening in less, than 3 minutes with formation of solid mass and, when necessary, by crumbling solid mass to mixture of grains. A gate is made of sintered composite material containing alloyed grain and matrix of oxide of aluminium/zirconium dioxide.

EFFECT: manufactured slide gate possesses high resistance to corrosion.
