FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: open-pit field with applied outlines of development stages is divided in plan view into the sections the sizes of which provide variation of reserves concentrated in them within the development stage. At that, in each of the open-pit field sections there formed are sections of temporarily non-mining flank, with driving of system of overburden openings. Location of sections of temporarily non-mining flank in sections of open-pit field provides conjugation of overburden openings throughout the height of the stage between adjacent sections of open-pit field and acts on the volume of the rock preserved by them within the development stage. Thus, availability of open-pit field sections differing as to amount of reserves, sizes of active ore surface areas, current overburden ratio and duration of their development within the stage is provided at the specified ore pit efficiency.

EFFECT: determination of section for potential development in the nearest future depending on product demand value.
