SUBSTANCE: to reduce levels of higher harmonics, their total energy is extracted in the form of equivalent energy of sequence of unipolar, periodically repeating width-modulated pulses of current, duration of which changes according to the law of variation of an envelope in a signal proportional to the current extracted from the power system, and after its conversion it is returned into the power system as a current of the main frequency harmonic, so that the power ratio shaped by the non-linear load is corrected to the specified value.
EFFECT: reduction of levels of higher harmonic components in the power flow extracted by a non-linear load and correction of power system power ration to the specified value.
