SUBSTANCE: compensation of high-order harmonic components is made due to energy reactive component of base frequency harmonic extracted from electric power system by transistor PWM rectifier in the form of energy from sequences of unipolar width-modulated current pulses; length of such pulses is formed according to law of modulating signal variation whereby signal envelope should be proportional to reactive component specified above. At that PWM rectifier is used as additional regulated source of power.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency use and reduction of non-productive losses of electric power during regulated process of high-order harmonics compensation.
