FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: reactive electric motor with a mechanical switching device comprises a stator with a geared magnetic conductor with a winding, phases of which are connected with a supply circuit via diodes, a rotor with a geared magnetic conductor without a winding (a reactive one) and a mechanical switching device with a code device of the rotor and a stator brush holder. The code device is made in the form of two collectors with identical number of plates equal to 2NZp (where N - number of winding phases; Zp - number of rotor teeth). Plates with the even sequence number of each collector are connected with one of network wires. Plates with the uneven sequence number of one collector are connected to the beginning of the n phase, and plates with the uneven sequence number of the second collector - to the end of n phase. Collectors are isolated from the stator and are rigidly fixed on it relative to the teeth of the stator magnetic conductor. The brush holder is fixed on the rotor and has one sliding contact at each collector.
EFFECT: simplified design of a mechanical switching device due to application of a simpler code device and reduced number of sliding contacts.
