FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to underground mining of flat and inclined coal seams using a deep seam mining complex (DSMC). The method of underground mining of a coal seam includes preparation of a working site, installation of a deep seam mining complex (DSMC) on the working site, extraction of coal by the complex away from the working site with formation of parallel rectangular excavation chambers with pillars left between them and its further transportation from the face to the mouth cameras. The working platform is formed on one side of the underground seam being developed along its entire length, at the level of the base of the seam being developed, on the reverse side of the underground mine a technological drift is formed at the same level with the working platform and parallel to it. At the working platform, a conveyor is installed to deliver products to the surface in such a way that its receiving hopper is joined with the mechanism for reloading coal from DMSC. Immediately before carrying out each excavation of coal from DSMC a through hole is formed between the working platform and the technological drift in the zone of subsequent formation of the excavation chamber. A clearing is created to connect the extreme point of the working platform with the extreme point of the technological drift. The pressure sensors united in a common system are installed in the formation roof zone in the worked-out extraction chambers.
EFFECT: ensuring efficient underground mining of coal seams with a simultaneous increase in safety directly at the mine site.
