SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular, to the development of flat coal seams. The method for open-underground mining of a gently sloping coal seam includes preliminary preparation of the front of mining operations, by opening the seam and planning the working site along the strike line at the level of the soil of the seam being mined, installing a deep seam mining complex (DSMC) on the working site, excavation of coal away from the working site by carrying out parallel workings of rectangular section, issuing broken coal along the working to the working site and loading it into a vehicle or storing it in a pile, characterized in that, simultaneously with each working, following the advancement of the face, a walking support is moved, equipped with technical vision equipment - video cameras, when discontinuities in the continuity of the roof rocks are detected, the support beams of the lagging section of the walking lining are lowered, a lattice tightening is inserted into the gap between the upper side of these beams and the lower side of the beams of the leading section, over the entire width of the working, in pieces overlapping with each other, when moving the lagging section of the lining, the lattice tightening is brought into the bottom-hole space of the working, and when spreading, it is pressed against the roof of the working by the supporting beams of the walking lining, while the ceiling behind the walking lining is supported by the erection of the anchor lining with the same lattice tightening.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and safety of cleanout operations from the side of the cut by diagnosing the state of the roof of the working as it is exposed and maintaining the roof of the formation in the zone of possible rock fall of the roof with walking support, working together with the DSMC.
