FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in electronic hydro mechanical automatic control systems (ACS) of gas turbine plants (GTP) of various purpose. In addition, range and change rate of the specified rotation frequency value of power plant is limited with the pre-set values determined for GTP of each type by calculation and experiment; rotation frequency of GTP turbo-compressor is measured and monitored; when rotor rotation frequency of turbo-compressor exceeds the range limited with the pre-set values determined by calculation and experiment, the change of GTP operating mode is stopped and message "Control failure from APCS" is formed to the operator.
EFFECT: improving ACS operating quality and GTP operating safety.
