FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: blind rivet consists of a rivet body with a flange on one end and a rivet top at the other end. In the rivet body, on a cartridge-shaped section, there is a cavity in the form of a hole. The blind rivet, as other blind rivets, is inserted via a hole in two connected sheets until the flange adjoins the upper side of the upper sheet. At the next stage with the help of a pusher or an expanding part, which are sharply moved in the same direction, that part of the rivet body is deformed, which is arranged at the reverse side of both sheets or the rivet top. The device to install such blind rivet comprises an element, which is sharply moved forward, namely, the pusher arranged inside the holder and designed for acting at the expanding part.
EFFECT: upon completion of riveting operation there are no wastes left that need additional liquidation.
