FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rivet is meant to be installed to the plate or similar part by adjustment in case a hole pre-drilled in that plate or part is not available. The above blind rivet includes cylindrical housing (2); collar (3) protruding radially relative to rivet housing (2) and forming support surface (5) perpendicular to axis of rivet housing (2); front installation end (4) located at some distance from support surface (5) of collar (3), and gripping place for the stretching element foe expansion of front installation end (4) of rivet housing (2), which is not the part of blind rivet. Gripping place for stretching element has contact surface perpendicular to longitudinal axis of rivet housing (2).
EFFECT: non-waste installation of blind rivets is achieved.
