FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: rivet for a gun has a rivet head with a board at one end and a rivet top at the other end. The rivet body has a cavity in the form of a channel on the section of the rivet cartridge. As well as with other rivets for a gun, this rivet is shot by hitting a hole in two sheets to be connected with the rivet top until the board stops against the upper surface of the upper sheet. Then a tightening bolt is inserted into the cavity and is connected to the bottom of the cavity. It may be done by means of resistance welding. The tightening bolt is then pulled until the rivet head is formed at the opposite side of two sheets. The tightening bolt is then separated from the rivet for a gun, for instance, by means of a shift force. The tightening bolt may be used again to install another rivet.
EFFECT: after riveting operation there are no wastes left that need additional removal.
