FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: one radiographs the object under control with ionising radiation and registers the object radiation imaging with a converter of X-ray/gamma to visible half-tone radiation; prior to the object radiography one places the converter represented by a layer of a mono- or polycrystalline scintillator onto the object under study following its geometry profile at a smallest gap possible, connects the scintillator (via a optical contact) to the receiving butt end of the light guide the output butt end whereof is connected to an optical image detector; one proceeds with the object radiography with simultaneous transfer of the image into the detector memory; the transfer is performed either by way of immediate contact of the light guide output butt end with the CCD-matrix plane or with the help of an optical system with the data recorded in the detector undergoing computer-assisted analysis.
EFFECT: increased performance and improved safety of items defectoscopy and provision for the control process automation possibility.
