FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: pilot signal is generated and emitted in the direction of the probed earth interior. Electromagnetic pulses reflected from subsurface structures are received. Those signals in whose spectrum there is a maximum number of resonance bursts are picked up. Parameters of the picked up signals are used directly for probing. The system for radar probing the earth interior has a radio transmitter (2) with a transmitting antenna (4), N>1 radio receivers (3) with receiving antennae (5). One of the radio receivers is placed on the area under investigation together with the ratio transmitter, and the rest of the radio receivers are spaced apart in space. Besides the abovementioned elements, the system also includes a control device (1), a radio transmitter modulator (6), N data transmission and positioning devices (7), a signal parameter adaptation device (10), a data processing device (9) and a topographic precise positioning device (8).
EFFECT: wider range of detected structures and high accuracy of determining characteristics thereof.
