SUBSTANCE: method of identifying an electroconductive object comprises steps for applying a coordinate grid onto the object and then entering into computer memory, said coordinate grid having an identification number for a specific picture obtained through an electrical action between the object and the electrode, and subsequent identification by comparing the identification number and the specific picture with a pre-recorded picture, wherein the specific picture is created by feeding a liquid electrolyte in the gap between the electrode and the object; the electrode is sectioned and each section of the electrode is connected to a low-voltage current source through a random number generator.
EFFECT: high reliability of protecting an electroconductive object by creating an unlimited number of specific pictures for subsequent identification.
