FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: spring installation device in tubular cover for nuclear fuel includes spring distributor, spring loader; at that, distributor supplies springs to the loader. At that, loader includes longitudinal spring receiving slide. Slide includes outlet end by means of which the spring is supplied to tubular cover, pusher capable of being moved in the slide so that the spring can be installed in place in tubular cover, and pusher movement devices; at that, device also includes mechanical control member that connects the spring loader to spring distributor and causes spring supply after activation of spring loader with spring distributor and causes spring supply after activation of spring loader. There is also installation method of spring in tubular cover, which is implemented by means of spring installation device containing spring loader (2) and spring distributor (4) for the above loader (2) and mechanical control member (48).
EFFECT: group of inventions allows creating automated spring installation device in tubular covers, which is easier and more resistant to undesirable actions.
