SUBSTANCE: pump comprises a motor and a shaft functionally connected to a motor, and also at least one permanent dipole magnet functionally connected to the shaft, and a channel for passage of melt metal. The motor drives the shaft and the permanent magnets into rotation with their displacement relative to the channel, as a result of which in the melt metal available inside the channel there are vortex currents induced, which interact with a movable magnetic field to develop a force that provides for metal pumping via the channel, at the same time the metal contacts only with the inner surface of the channel.
EFFECT: provides for the possibility of pumping, braking and distributing the specified portions of melt metal, changing direction of melt metal flow with mobility of the structure itself.
