FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of management of natural resources and can be used to regulate location of wolf populations. The permissible boundaries of wolf populations are determined. Individual animals are taken from biocoenosis in front of the boundary. At the same time the nesting sites and nutritional adaptation of birds of a flock located along the border are determined. Flocks with undesired nutritional adaptation are withdrawn completely. In flocks with a valid nutritional adaptation the parental couple is left.

EFFECT: stabilisation of wolf population is provided at a low level, preventing expansion of wolves outwards the permissible limits of location.
