FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: to detect the infectious agent ASF in the nidus of infection until its natural incidental presentation define the coordinates of dominant height of the ground surface natural elevation with respect to the sea level. Then provide intravital sampling of domestic pigs and wild boars blood, as well as the pathological material from fallen domestic pigs and wild boars, sampling from pig products, and sampling of water and soil in the potentially troublesome area, followed by the diagnosis of the samples taken. Initially determine the coordinates of at least one dominant height of the natural elevation on the potentially troublesome area. The dominant height is chosen with the excess of 3 meters relatively to the other heights in the investigated area. The area radius of the investigated adjacent territory is chosen within 20 km. The water and soil sampling is carried out within the radius of 100 meters around the border, adjacent to the dominant height of the territory. The samples diagnosis is carried out using PCR hemoadsorption or immunofluorescence.

EFFECT: invention provides early detection of african swine fever virus and allows to prevent its further spread.
