FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to production of food. The method includes stages, at which the following is carried out: simultaneously at least two rectilinear tapes of dough are formed by extrusion via proximal forming openings so that dough tapes stick to each other after exiting openings; the specified at least two dough tapes are cut, as a result, a dough piece is produced, which contains at least two dough tapes; the specified dough piece is placed into a caustic bath; the specified dough piece is baked in an oven; the specified at least two dough tapes are separated, as a result, individual pretzels are produced.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase absorption of seasoning by pretzels.
