SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. The method consists in the fact that a composition containing a glucose antimetabolite is administered in a mammal. The specified composition contains an amount of the glucose antimetabolite sufficient to decrease a blood C-reactive protein level in the mammal after the introduction of the glucose antimetabolite. The glucose antimetabolite is selected from a group consisting of 2-deoxy-D-glucose, 5-thio-D-glucose, 3-O-methylglucose, anhydro sugar, 1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol, 2,5-anhydro-D-mannitol, mannoheptulose and their combinations. To decrease the blood C-reactive protein level in the mammal, such glucose antimetabolite as avocado, mannoheptulose and avocado extract are also used.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows effective inflammation and stress reduction in the mammal.
