FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to dressing of iron-bearing ores and may be used in mining and metallurgical industries. The method of iron-bearing ores dressing includes wet grinding of initial ore at several stages, wet magnetic separation of ground products of each stage to produce final tailings and intermediate products, which are sent to a subsequent grinding stage, and also size separation of magnetic separation intermediate product prior to the last stage of grinding to produce a fine product, which is sent to magnetic separation, in order to produce the first concentrate and final tailings, and a coarse product, which is sent for grinding at the last stage and is further sent to a subsequent stage of magnetic separation to produce the second concentrate and final tailings. The fine product prior to dressing for production of the first concentrate and final tailings is fist send to a separate grinding stage.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase quality of final concentrate due to increased quality of the first concentrate.
