FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system of rolling mill rolled products (20) monitoring (10) and comprises a device for turning sheets and a method for rolled products turning for the purpose of their surface expertise. The device comprises at least one tilter (11) of metal sheets with a system of transmitting tilting levers (12) arranged on the tilter's shaft (14) and receiving tilting levers (13) arranged on the tilter's shaft (15) that have at least one damping plate. The method to tilt the rolled products is carried out using the specified tilter (11). Metal sheets are fed from transmitting tilting levers (12) to receiving tilting levers (13). Transfer is damped with the help of at least one damping plate (16) arranged on the receiving levers (13).
EFFECT: less noise from tilted sheet hitting and lower wear of levers.
