FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling rolled article (2), preferably in cold rolling. Device (3) includes nozzle (32) for application of cooling medium (34) onto rolled article (2), as well as connected allowing the liquid cooling medium with nozzle (32) and passing in fact parallel to plane (10) of the strip cooling chamber (4) for application of cooling medium (34) onto rolled article (2). Uniform application of the cooler and reduction of environmental pollution is ensured by the fact that the device has outer shell (7) and adjustment device (6) to change to the opposite one the direction of flow of cooling medium (34) in cooling chamber (4) by shifting outer shell (7) of device (3), herewith shell (7) is installed with the possibility of displacement from the first position into the second position, and depending upon its position – interconnection of two supplies (30) and two discharges (52) of cooling medium (34) with changing the direction of flow of cooling medium (34).
EFFECT: cooling of the article.
