FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articles made from transparent amorphous glass-like material of the crystal glass or glass type, and can be used to make jewellery such as rings, brooches, earrings and lavalliere. At least one alternation of metal layers is successively applied on the outer surface of glass like material of the crystal glass or glass type, said layers being meant for endowing said surface with a decorative effect of dichromatic nature, which becomes apparent when looking at said surface through a mass of transparent material. A finishing reflecting dull light-blocking layer consisting of metal (titanium or chromium) is deposited on top of the transparent metallic layers.
EFFECT: creating optical effects of dichromatic nature with a side range of effect, which demonstrate a wide range of colours.
