FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: installation for fatigue tests of compact specimens at bending with twisting consists of bed, of passive and active grippers, of loading device of lever type and of crank mechanism. The installation is equipped with a rotary table with angle of turn 0°-90° (0° - bending, 90° - twisting), with a hollow lever with a loading lever inside it, and with a system of spring shock absorbers. Also, the passive gripper is secured on the rotary table, while the active gripper is rigidly connected with a hollow lever. Levers interact by means of the spring shock absorbers with regulated spring tightening. The crank mechanism has a crank of controlled length. A screw gear actuates a slider to travel along guides thus changing length of the crank. Displacement of the crank mechanism in vertical plane is actuated with a gear "screw-nut".

EFFECT: wide range control of combination of bending and twisting moments in compact specimen at fatigue tests, simple and compact installation.
