FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: terminal may receive at least one record on a system for at least one system using multiplexing with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) or single-carrier frequency division multiplexing (SC-FDM). Each record on a system may include identification information about a system for an associated system and an index for an associated lock-in record. The terminal may also receive one lock-in record for this at least one system. Each lock-in record may include at least one value for at least one configured system parameter, for instance, FFT size, lengths of cyclic prefix, quantity of protective subcarriers, etc. The terminal may carry out lock-in for the specified at least one system in compliance with at least one record about the system and with at least one lock-in record. Records on systems and lock-in may be stored in a preferable roaming list (PRL) or in a most recently used list (MRU).

EFFECT: reduced time of lock-in.
