FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to creation of dry chemical powders which are used in fire extinguishing, namely class A (smoldering materials), B (inflammable fluids), C (combustible gases) fire suppression, and also 1000 V energised electrical installations. The multipurpose dry chemical powder contains the following components in the optimal proportions, wt %: high-disperse hydrophobic silicon dioxide in the form of deposited silica processed by organic silicon compounds - 0.3-3.0, ammophos - 0.5-35, ammonium sulphate - 0.1-25, azodicarboxylic acid derivative - 10-35, a water-insoluble mineral or mixture of minerals up to 100. The water-insoluble minerals or mixture of minerals are any compound of a series: carbonates, silicates, aluminium silicates or mixtures.
EFFECT: creation the multipurpose dry chemical powder with the optimal proportions of the ingredients which improve the operational properties of the powder - water-repellency, fluidity, class A and B fire-fighting capacity.
