FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-and-gas industry and may be used for cleaning oil tubes of asphalt-tar-paraffin sediments. Proposed device comprises induction heater connected to AC source. Said induction heater is made up of independent coil sections wound on heat-insulation casing and distributed over its length. Induction heater coil section supply source is made up of frequency converter with input connected to industrial-frequency AC line and its output connected via electronic controller to induction heater. Control unit is connected with thermal gages mounted at check points of tube surface.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
